Persistent rain forced the judges to call stumps on Day 2 only 53.4 overs were thrown into today's game with Sri Lanka, scoring 210 runs for the loss of two wickets. Highlights of the day was fantastic boss ton of Sri Lanka, Kumar Sangakkara.
The day began with Sri Lanka in a little brother to 84/3.Though partnership in grass, they had shared from the eve of the 50 between Sangakkara and Samaraweera burgeoned. It duly stretched to 170 until Samaraweera was rejected for a very respectable 80.
Samaraweera made 80 with eight boundaries and six to save Sri Lanka after being reduced to 34-3 on the opening day. Sangakkara was 135 not from 252 balls and 16 boundaries and six.
Prasanna Jayawardene was with him on 12 but the visitors managed to bounce back by linking the opposition with two crucial wickets.
West Indies seam Kemar Roach returned the best bowling figures of three for 66 while captain Darren Sammy and Bravo took a wicket each.Only 90 overs were possible so far in this Test match and with three days left, it seems that the hosts have the upper hand, which runs on the board.
As for the players of the West Indies have all your big heart and worked hard in the land that was life on the first day, but began to lose especially among young fast life.In Kemar Roach has proven to be very fast If three days Improvement.
Sri Lanka can 350.They is the least would be very satisfied with their work. Hopefully this game is not damaged by weather, in addition to its own as a contest of good mainly due to a not very good test.
